Krista Ewer is a self-taught visual artist based in London, Ontario. Inspired by colour, nature, and human connection, she creates bold, emotionally driven work that blends acrylics, watercolours and mixed media into expressive pieces that celebrate imagination and the world around us.
For more than two decades, Krista has explored the boundaries of materials and storytelling, using art as both a creative practice and a form of personal growth. Her work has been featured in galleries and exhibitions, appeared on the cover of Grand by Charles Johnson, and was part of a collection at Ontario's Legislative Assembly.
A winner of the 2019 Southwestern Ontario Art Battle, Krista has become a familiar voice in the local arts community. She is passionate about using creativity to give back, supporting local charities and championing the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
When she's not in the studio, Krista is a tennis and pickleball coach, the proud mom of two amazing adult children, and an avid birder who is happiest with a camera around her neck, searching for the next unforgettable sighting.
