Krista Ewer is a bold, self-taught visual artist from London, Ontario. Fuelled by colour, nature, and human connection, her work punches through the ordinary—blending acrylics, watercolours, alcohol inks, and resin into energetic, emotionally-charged pieces.
For over two decades, Krista has pushed the boundaries of medium and meaning, using art as therapy and personal evolution. Her work’s been featured everywhere from grassroots shows to the cover of Grand by Charles Johnson, and even in Ontario’s Legislative Assembly.
She took the top spot at the 2019 Southwestern Ontario Art Battle and has since become a steady presence in the local art scene, using her work to support her 2SLGBTQIA+ community and uplift local causes.
Off-canvas, she’s a tennis and pickleball coach, a full-time mom to two awesome kids, and a proud bird nerd who’s happiest with a camera around her neck, chasing the thrill of a rare bird sighting.
